📄️ Back up and restore
AddaxAI keeps copies of your database, so a mistake or a crash does not cost you your work. This page covers what happens on its own, how to make a copy yourself, and how to go back to one.

Version 6 is the legacy AddaxAI, and the latest release is 6.37. If you would rather use it than version 7, here is how to install it. This page covers Windows and macOS. Linux is left out, because version 6 was buggy on Linux and never worked well there.
📄️ Install in mainland China
The first launch downloads the AI models and the software they run in. In mainland China those downloads fail or stall, because the servers they come from are blocked or very slow. The fix is to use mirrors: copies of the same files on Chinese servers.
📄️ Silent install for IT teams
This page is for IT staff who deploy AddaxAI to many computers with tools like Intune, SCCM, Jamf or a plain script. Regular users should follow the normal installation page instead.
📄️ Install on locked-down computers and networks
Work and university computers are often managed. A rule about where programs may run, or a network that inspects secure traffic, can stop the first-time setup.
